These crown blocks create a unique and decorative trim on the inside corners of any room or project, and fit all styles of crown moldings up to 3 1/4" wide. They are easy to install. The blocks have been slightly hollowed out on the back and top so that they will fit snugly against the wall and ceiling, and they eliminate the need for a coping joint or inside compound miter. A straight 90 degree cut is all that is needed. We recommend toenailing the block behind where the crown would cover the nail. They may be used with or without an accent molding below the crown (like a dental mold or small panel mold). Blocks can be stained, painted, or clear finished.
